GM Nav help
Is there a way to override the "failsafe" that keeps me from making changes in my route on the Nav system while moving? I know Pioneer had this failsafe and there was an easy "jumper" that could be done so you can make changes on the fly. I'd hate to have a "cheap" Magellan that can do this and not be able to on my "expensive" factory unit.

The Pioneer units that had the same "feature" were able to disable it by a simple jumper wire at the plug. Is it not possible that some electronics guru here has found the same type of override?

I wonder why coastaletech does not make a lockpick for the vettes. I have one for my denali and it works great to overide the "safety" feature GM thought we needed on the factory NAV.
Maybe we should all start contacting them to show interest so they develop one for corvette.

by opening the speed sense line the unit doesnt realize the car is moving and gives u limited time to enter nav info 30 seconds or something like that before it freaks out from no signal on that line at all.
lockpick is something made for some cars that electronically tells the unit to unlock the nav and gives options for video playback
