Perfect location for mounting Alpine blackbird
Well I finally pulled the trigger and got a GPS navigation system. I wanted the blackbird because it's fully compatable with my IVA D310 unit. I found that the glove box is perfect for mounting and actually has 2 quarter-sized holes for running cables. (just remove the caps)
It's worth noting that this install was done without any kind of power. My house was in the path of Ike and JUST got power back today (8 days later) This was my first experience using a lighter as a solder gun.
