Yeah amp's and small closed in space dont work well together. However when I was looking at the Basslink it really didnt seem like that amp had enough power to get real hot but I could be wrong.
Still a very nice set-up though if you just want a little bass.

IMO u will be fine with it in there, i have ran far bigger amps with little to no airflow and no problems.
I used to run a 1200wrms monoblock and 100x4 4 channel (that ran warm as it was) in the spare tire well of a car which had a sub box sitting on top of it so literally no air flow. 4ch shutoff once in 2 years it was about 110 out and car had been sitting in sun all day and i had it blasted and it shutoff with in minutes, waited a few min and all was good
