Default Does High Wattage(Amplifiers) mean better sound?

I in the process of installing a new stereo system in my car... I am looking for Sound Quality...

I was wondering if a 100WRMS amp is worse than a 250WRMS amp when tied to the same speaker... assuming the speaker is 75-90WRMS speaker?

Plus... I am looking for a good amplifier, 1 - 4ch amp for fronts and rears, and 1- Mono/2Ch for a pair of subs..(Not looking for a thump just clean bass) ...

I was thinking that a amp that is 100WRMS would be good for the front ...
And anything for the rear...

And 250WRMS for the sub...

I have looked at this JL Amp:

Power matters in that you want it to match the speaker's requirements based on ratings and efficiency and you want it to be balanced. For seperates you want 50-100w per channel. For coax, 25-50 is usually enough. Subs vary greatly. A five channel amp is a good idea for your needs. However, I'm not to thrilled by JL amps. Subs are OK but the amps and speakers aren't the best. I'd look at A/D/S, Soundstream, or even Rockford Fosgate first.
