Speaker change
Would changing rear and door speakers add to overall sound experience in 08 vert w/basic system cd,xm,ipod, or would this be waste of money?? Trying not to break the bank....

Greg put in some db series Polk audio, front and rear, and it made a real big difference in the sound. I also turned down the bass to the 1/3 mark and it seemed to tighten up the lower end.
I'm very happy!

i usually just hop on ebay and search the model number
db351 (3.5 for doors C5&C5)
db521 (c5 vert,z06,frc & C6 all)
db651 (c5 coupe)
find the cheapest ones shipped and go for it
otherswise
sonicelctronics.com, woofersetc.com, millionbuy.com are all good vendors with a phone number u can call as well

in the c5 i see it as 2 ways to go about doing it
3.5s upfront and the rears
or a 4channel amp 6.5" compoennts up front (has seperate woofer and tweeter) which replaces the entire bose aseembly up front and a sub in the back
volvopenta outdrive on the boat
