I have a 2000 coupe with the Bose/Delco system. I've been researching the AUX input solutions and I haven't found one that plugs directly into the back of the Delco HU. I don't have the CD changer harness and frankly don't know why there isn't a solution (that I've found) that doesn't require it. Maybe someone has an answer for this.
I posted this last week. I had to remove the console to get to the radio, but it was rather simple. I simple plugged in the adapter and it works great. I hit the CD/AUX button on my head unit once and it activates the MP3 player, a second time and the CD player operates. If I drop in a CD, it automatically overrides and plays normally. Contact them and they'll talk through exactly what you need!
I want to pass on a great recommendation for Zune users...
I hated using an FM Modulator to play my Zune - the sound quality just wasn't there even with a high end modulator.
I purchased the AUX2CAR and the PXHGM4 from Discount Car Stereo.com and it is heavenly. The install was easy.
Contact Jay Coban at www.discountcarstereo.com and he will walk you through exactly what you need for your car. Also, very detailed and easy to understand instructions were included.
