Hey fellas, I received my Pioneer AVIC-F900BT and I plan on installing it. However, I was wondering If I could substitute some products needed. Its just that I have a connection that lets me get other brand parts for wholesale price. For example:
1.Can I use the Scosche GM1595B dash kit instead of the Metra 95-3304? Scosche Metra
2. Can I use the Scosche MDARB Antenna adapter instead of the Metra 40GM10? Scosche Metra
3. Heres the big one: Can I use the Soundgate DIGISTARV3 interface (BOTH Chime and Onstar) instead of the Peripheral GMAH24B and GMAHCM? Soundgate Peripheral GMAH24BGMAHCM
Any car audio install experts have any experience with these parts or brands? I could potentially save a lot of money if these parts work. Thanks!

Assuming you're doing this in a C6 then the answer to #3 is PROBABLY. The application guide from Soundgate says the DIGISTARV3 for non-Bose and the DIGISTARV4 for Bose.
I've never seen any reports of using that module nor do I have any personal experience with it so I can't say more than that. I prefer to use the Peripheral modules because they use the same Delco chipsets that the car itself uses so the compatibility issues are practically nil.
The guys at the local shop are trying to tell me to get the Metra GMOS04? Hows that one? They said theres no need to run wires to the ECU?
The thing about the Soundgate is that theres 2 versions, one for retaining the bose amp and one for aftermarket amps. If I use the wrong one, it will burn out the bose amp because the lead will be too high? Supposedly they work pretty well, maybe Ill be a guinea pig for this one lol.
They said theres some way I can use the V4 (bose) with aftermarket speakers but I didnt really understand the guy on what I needed to do. He said I have to something with a speaker for onstar or something. Not sure.
