Default PAC line level controller question?

I'm going to add a sub to my factory Bose setup in my C5, and was wonder if anyone has used a PAC Line Level Controller? I'd like to be able to adjust the base up and down as I want depending on the song.

I'd love some opinions what you all think about it and where you installed it.

The item in question is at the bottom of the below link.

You would need the first and last items on that page.

Better prices here:
PACOEM1
PACLC1

Guess I should have mentioned I already have the Pac OEM 1, and thats why I was asking about the controller.

Great and thanks for your reply. Have you seen any pics floating around on where to mount it?

I've tried the search feature, but came up with nothing.

lc1 is what i have and it works great. Some songs are too much bass and some too little so the switch makes life so much easier. I have mine laying my center console (may mount it later?). If you get one you will need "2 male to male" adapters to go from the switch to the amp or another short rca male to male cord. good luck paul

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was thinking I take two short RCA cables (males on both ends). Run both short male cables from the PAC OEM to the LC1. Then take my long run RCA's from the LC1 to the amp. Is this correct?

Nevermind. I see I need the male to male RCA coupler. Thanks for mentioning it, as I would not have thought of it.
