Matt, my son has an older Eclipse 3640 4 channel amp he would like to use as a three channel. He doesn't have the installation manual so I was wondering if the installation guide for my Rockford 4 channel would work as a general guideline.
I was thinking that they would be wired the same way, use positive from one rear channel and negative from the other for the sub. But there is no way to know if the switches and dials need to be set a particular way to make it work correctly.
Alternatively, do you know where I might be able to find an installation guide for the Eclipse? It is not on the Fujitsu Ten Eclipse site. Probably too old.
just connect like any other amp, the 3 and 4 channels should be labeled as to which + and - to use for bridging. You will want to lowpass ur rear channels for the sub at around 80hz prly
if u post a pic of the dials/controls we can help u if u are unsure
