Alpine 9886 installed
Alpine 9886 HU installed the other day by mobile Werks in NJ.The install went well and everything works well. Ipod and satilte as well.The only thing that I am not compleatly satisfied with is the way the unit is mounted.The HU is not flush with the climate control and sticks out more than the climate control.I think they used mounting kit #99-4000 from installer.com. Although that is the kit that was for a 2003 Vette.Is there another kit I could use to make the HU sit deeper into the dash?

99-3300 is what i use all the time, generally speaking u have to bend back or cut out the metal tab in the back of the dash to get a radio in flush this is no big deal and has no effect on going back to stock stereo

I love Alpine units.. I wish they still made a 1.5 DIN
