Any suggestions? My door panels have always rattled. It is even worse now with the 6.5 component set. I thought after my sound deadening install it would get better but it didn't. It rattles where the 2 pieces are screwed together right under the door lock indicator so it is right by my ear and I hear it on both doors. If you hold the door the rattle goes away.
Sounds like defect in the door. I don't have a C6, but this is where I'd start. You'll have to trace the source of the noise by simulating the rattle. Once you pinpoint exactly where it's coming from, something may not have been tightened or broke.
Also, post this in C6 Tech. This isn't really an Audio issue since it's been happening before the mod.

This goes away when the stereo shuts off. It is audio related.

Hadn't thought of this. I may give it a squirt and see what happens.
Check the condition of the plastic rivets that hold the door panel. Is it possible one or two of them could be busted? If it's both doors then it's probably something else. What did you use for mounting plates for your components? I have 6.5" components in my doors and they scream and zero rattle with zero sound insulation but I used very sollid mounting plates (the set sold by nakid parts on this forum).
