Thinking about swapping subwoofer...
I really like my current subwoofer -- an ED 11kv2 that occupies my center rear cubby. The problem is that I REALLY need that storage space back. I don't use the two side cubbies at all; so I'm thinking about going with two smaller subs (one in each of the side cubbies). Has anyone actually heard a vette with this configuration? I don't expect it to sound as good as what I have now, but I don't want a huge dropoff either. Second, does anyone know what will fit in these spaces? I looked at the specs of an 8" Polk, and the recommended sealed enclosure was .35 ft^3, which did not sound too bad. If I had to build up the sides of the enclosure (past flush), that would be fine. I would appreciate any suggestions / advice.
