Taking the Last Step 07 C6
Ok, I've switched out all of the speakers, using components and a Stealthbox. I have a JL amps for the sub, and and JL HD600 for the components and rears. Still have the factory nav. Lots of neat stuff out their in the aftermarket, but am wondering if the SQ will be noticeable if I replace the head unit?
I have other mods I could do with the $$.

I did a similar move in my 06. JL C5-650 components,XR-525 coax(rear fill) Stealthbox, 450/4v2 and 300/2v2 for the sub. I at first left the factory head but I wanted Ipod so I replaced it with a Kenwood 8019. The sound quality was fine with the stock head. You dont have to swap it out. What JL components did you go with?

I'm using Hertz Hi Energy HSK 165 components in the doors and Hertz ESX 130 (coax) in the hatch area. Not a real familiar brand, but produced the sound I was looking for. I know some of the h/u's have nice features, however if the SQ isn't that much better, I'll spend the money elsewhere. Thanks for the thoughts.
