Center Speaker poll - speaker upgrade
I'm installing a Kenwood DNX8120 in the vehicle with the HAT Clarus 61-2 for the front stage and removing the rears completely. I'm planning on using aftermarket amps for the system (Alpine PDX 1.600 for the sub, not sure about amp for components - open to suggestions). I'm looking for advice regarding the center speaker. If you have any thoughts, to include the best way to connect it to the 8120 if you think I should use the center speaker, please post them here. Thanks in advance.

Ditch the dash speaker. Calling it a center gives it more credence than it deserves, it's garbage in the stock system and will completely screw your soundstage in a good setup unless you're planning on a 5.1 Dolby Digital discrete channel, which to my mind isn't worth doing in this car.
