Auto-Dimming Mirror Light Sensor
I have a '07 with the Auto-dimming/On Star mirror. I hate auto-dimming mirrors.
Headlight intensity provides valuable info like relative distance to target and speed of the target relative to yours.
Does anyone know where the light sensor is for the mirror is or better yet know how to disable it? Currently every time I turn the car on at night, I hold the "on" button for 4 seconds to turn it off. PITA.

I'm not that impressed with mine either. For me it's the inconsistency of how it works - sometimes I have someone with a truck behind me so the lights are shining right into the cabin and the system doesn't react and other times there's someone way behind me with their low beams and it dims.
I'd like to know where that sensor is too - maybe I can adjust the mirror a little better to react more intelligently.
