iphone apps and nav systems
so today i decided to go check out a local audio installer to check out their demos. looked a the dnx 8120, (which i was leaning towards), and pioneer avic F90BT. Both systems looked pretty sweet. on paper the specs are comperable.
anyway, one thing that i was disappointed with was the fact that the units didnt recognize my iphone apps. (pandora, aol radio, shoutcast). I was so hoping that I would be able to stream music from these apps via one of these units.
I can certainly do it with an FM transmitter, but not via the head units. You would think since its connected via USB, that it would transfer the audio, just the same as with the actual mp3's on the iphone itself.
i was all excited about upgrading, and this kind of put a damper on all that. I dont think this will deter me from getting one of these, but thought i would share with others in case you were thinking of the same thing.

ok first off if i recall correctly the new iphone and ipod touch dont push video so dont plan on doing video through this but i could be 100% wrong
