I have an '07 C6 with the Nav and XM unit. No problems since new about 25,000 miles. It just recently began making an occasional popping sound out of the right front door speaker on start up or shut down. Doesn't do it at other times. The rest of the speakers seem to be OK. Any suggestions?

A popping sound at on/off generally suggests that the amp is turning on before and off after the head unit powers up. With the design of the C6 setup that doesn't seem likely, but do you always turn off your radio before shutting off the car? I'd be curious if leaving it on vs turning it off makes a difference. Otherwise you may have something going bad with a channel in the amp.
I had the problem on startup (07), although with after market amps. Just a slight pop.
The original AC/Delco Battery let me down (no start) the second time and it was replaced with an Optima Yellow Top.
VOILA... NO MORE POP.
Could it be that when a battery is weak, the BCM routes all of the power to start, and shuts down accessories for a split second ?

Wow, who knows, it could be. The BCM programming these days is pretty sophisticated so I won't even hazard a guess there.
On an aftermarket amp that isn't unusual, it's the stock amp being involved that makes me wonder if there's a problem with the amp here. Mostly because the radio & amp trigger very early in the process because they're both necessary to produce chimes, so actually they're both on before you even press the button to start the car.
