2009 Coupe rear 6 disk changer help needed.

Need help. I thought I was there but here's the problem.

I just plugged in the new GM rear CD 6 disc changer and the disc changer just keeps scanning back and forth not recognizing the CD. I removed the plug from the XM receiver and plugged it into the CD Module. The Nav head unit seems to recognize something because the GUI changes from "CD" to "CD/CDX', but I don't get to the GUI where the display shows Disc's 1 through 6. The changer as I said just keeps scanning back and forth. I called my dealership and they have no clue...
I'm wondering if something in the head unit needs to be turned on or if there is some software needed??

if cd/cdx is coming up that means it sees the changer, now why it dont work i have no clue, have u tried putting a disc in it

Yes, I put several disk in. The changer just keeps scanning back and forth looking for the disk?

stupid question are u putting them in upside down, otherwise im not sure. i do know alot of things changed for 09 is the changer compatiable with an 09

Not a stupid question, but if you mean the disc...I tried both ways. Still doesn't work.
