I am part way through the install of my new Kenwood DNX 7120 in my C5. I have a couple questions that I'm sure I can find the answer to on this great forum, but after spending 20 minutes looking, I thought I'd go the easy route.
For 12 volt supply, do I tap into the wires from the old Bose system harness for this purpose? If so, which ones are they (switched and unswitched)? If not, what is plan B?
I saw the thread for the dimmer wire on the HVAC controls (cream color - rt side). Do I just tap into this wire with the similar wire from the Kenwood harness?
for 12 volt constant just use the wire in the gm wiring harness as long as u bought the gm harness it should color match, the ignition switched wire can be picked up in the passenger kickpanel the constant is also down there, its on page one of the c5 faq
the dimmer wire from the hvac creme colored goes to the dimmer wire on ur kenwood prly an orange wire
