Speaker choices
I have a Pioneer 90BT going into my C5, can someone comment on an amp and 4 speakers that would sound great in the car? It's a Z06 and I do not want a sub, just 2 in the door and 2 in the back. I bought 4 polk speakers, but it just does not sound right. It might be the fact that I do not have an amp running to them? I want good sound, but I am getting to damn old for my hair to shake anymore 
Look for some advice from people that have heard their setup and not bestbuy people wanting to guess what sounds good. Bestbuy already sold me a 700 dollar setup that they promised would sound good.

what amp does bestbuy carry for 700 dollars, taking best buy advice was first mistake
i take it u are ditching bose subs in the door, polk speaker are pretty good at the price point and with an amp should sound decent but u will have less bass then stock
a decent set of 6.5 components and sound sound deadner in ur door will get u some decent mid bass

Bestbuy already sold me a 700 dollar setup that they promised would sound good.Subs are not necessarily used for shaking your hair. They are part of a complete sound system. If you have a stereo in your home, I'm sure it has subs as part of the speaker system. It's all in how you set it up. As the C5 guys here will let you, the front stage is whats important, so you can lose the rear fill speakers and install a sub in the rear, and it will sound great.
