Pioneer is the biggest POS company, I can't believe they use pico SMD fuses on the board where you have to take the whole unit apart. I'm going to just mount a fuse holder to the back of the unit, and solder wires from the SMD joint locations to it so I can just pull the fuse out in 5 minutes if it blows again.

Everything is crystal clear now and sounds awesome! I changed out that fuse on the head unit and just got to hear how everything sounds with the new Zapco DC 1000.4 I picked up from in town. There's not a hint of noise or alternator whine, it's absolutely dead silent if there's no music playing and I didn't mess with the ground or anything else in the system.

It sounds awesome, and the DC version of the Zapco amp has some neat features being able to tune it through your computer. Here are some pics of the system:
