Need radio help on c4

I'm installling a alpine cd player in my 84 with Bose speakers they all work great, but my problem is the radio plays fine but when I change it to play a cd, no sound. So I thought maybe the cd player was bad and hooked up to a normal speaker it plays cd's fine. I have the Scosche wiring interface hooked up between the headunit and the factory wiring harness like it says to but I can only listen to the radio. I have installed dozens of radios but have never had this happen.

Any help please

ur using the power antenna wire from ur radio u need to use remote wire

So when the antenna goes down the speakers shut off? The antenna needs to be up when the radio or cd player is on?

ur radio has both a remote/amp turn on wire and a power antenna wire, u are using the power antenna wire on ur radio, you want to use the remote wire

Thanks for your help! Works great now, I had no idea that the antenna would have to be up for the speakers to sound. I guess that is why they sell the bypass switch.
