Portable GPS antenna question
Hi guys,
If I use portable GPS as in-dash GPS, would the whole dash block the antenna signal? Does any portable GPS got external antenna?
This is for my other car.

Since nobody understands anything you wrote along with Myself I will try to attempt to answer what I think you were asking.
An indash radio with navigation will have an external antenna that you will have to mount so it can acquire GPS.
There are some high end portable GPS units that can use an external antenna. I have a Garmin Streetpilot 2620 and 2720 that I can use an external antenna.
All portable/dash mounted GPS units will work sitting on your dash board.
All portable/dash mounted GPS units mounted under your dash will not probably work cause you wont be able to see them.
Try to have an interpreter help you post your questions in better English next time.
