Default Kenwood DNX 8120 install question

I hope you guys can help me out here.

I just installed the DNX 8120 in my 2000 coupe using the SVEN2 with the SVHGM4 harness. Everything seems to work fine except I don't think the BOSE Subs are active. I currently have the blue/white p. control wire from the 8120 wired to the blue wire on the SVHGM4 harness.

So here is my question. Do I to connect the blue/white P. Cont. wire from the 8120 harness directly to the blue wire on the GM factory harness instead?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Just a guess here, but I'm bored, so here goes....

Click here to find all of the schematics I'm using.

The door subs are self powered, so I'd guess that you haven't hooked up the new HU's amp trigger to the subs, or the signal itself just isn't getting there.

If no power is the problem:
In the above link, look at 'C5 radio 4 of 4' to see the subs. The orange wires need to be powered for them to work. Going back to schematic 2/4, that happens when the dark green wire at pin A8 of C1 is powered. Make sure that the 'external amp' trigger wire from the new HU is connected to whatever wire on the adapter harness is aligned with pin A8 of C1. FYI, C1 is the 24 pin plug that your adapter is plugged in to.

If no signal is the problem:
Look at 'C5 Radio Plugs 1 of 6'. The low level signal coming out of the HU looks like it needs to be connected to pins A9/A11 for RH and A3/B11 for LH.

Just don't stare at the schematics too long. If they don't make you then you'll definitely before you

GOOD LUCK
