c6 VERT POWERED SUB - where install? Traditional AMP SUB???
I've had great results with other cars and trucks installing a powered sub. The question is where? The dimensions are Dimensions: 14.53"L x 8.82"W x 3.70"H. I'll create a template and go searching. I was curious if anyone else already had success with this? If we can find a good place to install, this is a great bang for the buck. THANKS!
PS - if the more conventional and and sub has worked for you, would like tips as well - don't want to eat up the minimal storage space on a C6 Vert!
Here's the problem when you stuff a sub in the trunk, all you'll get is BOOM BOOM BOOM. In the closed environment of the trunk separated from the listening space the sub typically becomes "one noted", finding the resonance frequency of the available air space in the trunk. The only option to get a *musical* sounding sub is to do something under the tonneau so it shares the airspace of the cabin. Something like the JL Stealthboxes for the C6 convertible.
One man's opinion of course and some find the sound from a trunk mounted sub to be just fine. Good luck!
