Succesful Factory NAV install
I just added the factory navigation to my new '09 3LT coupe. It couldn't have been easier, plug and play. I installed the used NAV and turned on the ACC switch to make sure everything worked. Once I started the car the Theft lock came on, so off to the local dealer for a recode. Armen Chevrolet did it for free, in the few minutes I waited.
Unit works great, or as well as any factory NAV setup works. Now I can find my way home!
Anyone contemplating this swap should find it very easy as long as you have the 3LT package and get the proper year Nav unit for your car. There are three different models from '05 to '09.

aftermarket is the real way to go, i could live without the hud integration for a more quality piece with better nav, dvd, usb, real ipod integration not a joke, hd radio, bluetooth

I'm all for starting a thread for budget minded C6'ers looking to add factory NAV systems. You guys who have updated can get rid of them to others looking for an easy plug 'n' play mod. Win win situation IMHO.
