My radio and cassette work as they should. The CD player in my '94 LT1 struggles to take in the CD and then when it does, it won't play. The only way to eject it is to shut the radio off and push the eject button. It will not eject any other way. The cassette ejects perfectly. I installed a switch in the wire for the power anttenae so it will stay down when I only want to use the cassette or CD. I don't think this is the problem because I put everything back as usual and tried it again. Same senario. CD won't play or eject until the radio is off. Anybody got any ideas?
Re: Problem with CD on a Delco Bose Gold System (mailman)
You can also get it repaired at united radio. When I had my 94 the cd player quit working. I sent it to them and it was returned repaired with a one year warranty for the whole unit. I do not remember the cost however you can call them at 1-800-448-0944 for pricing. After the repair I could play CDR's which was not possible before.
