Taking The IPod Plunge
okay, first and foremost I have searched until my eyes started to bleed without any help.
throughout my searches I have narrowed my options down to 3:

now, moving forward I have an 02' z06 with the factory Bose head unit and 12 disk changer. I don't mind ditching the 12 disk changer for the IPod at all. which of the above 3 choices would be best. I guess a little compare and contrast is what i'm looking for amongst the 3. a couple things I would like to add are: best fit/finish, IPod charging capabilities, quality, factory head unit able to control IPod. price is really of no concern, with that in mind let's hear it fellas.

isimple will not work with a c5 vette. go with the peripheral one which would be ur last link i have installed a many of them very good unit
some cars the controls will work on others it wont its hit or miss, all u can do really is track up or back from the radio and its got a lag time

Depending on what brand you prefer, there's a ton a quality NAV systems, and most have an iPod jack (or CAN have it added).. I don't know the size of the C5 head unit, but seems most are fairly standard/similarly sized today.. I wouldn't think there'd be a problem.
