With my new eclipse I have the option of traffic updates through sirius. Is it worth getting and paying the $30/year. I was thinking of hd radio also, but don't listen to the radio that much anymore since there's nothing but crap on. Anyway would the traffic updates be worth it and is sirius radio worth it?
How much time do you spend driving in traffic? If you work in downtown LA/NY/Atlanta (profile not filled in?) then yes.
I have SIRIUS. The few times I've been driving through a city during rush hour that has a dedicated 50/50 traffic channel I've found it very informative. I can only imagine that real time updates on a subscriber service would be even better.

IIRC the audio traffic channels are free. Problem is, you have to listen to them constantly to get "updated".
If you have a NAV system it is much nicer as it will just tell you automatically if there is a problem with traffic on your route. In that case it depends on WHERE you drive. Not all areas have traffic coverage.
I have XM Traffic and drive from Tampa Bay to Orlando regularly. I wouldn't be without it.
