Bass / Speakers Gone...?

Bass / Speakers Gone...?
Hi, Everyone:
I was detailing the engine compartment and interior of the car this evening and listening to the Ipod. About 10 minutes in, the bass COMPLETELY went out of the speakers. At the same time I'm hearing a "buzzing" sound when the ignition is turned off under the right front / passenger side dashboard. (It's not the speaker). Wow...Any ideas what happened to my sound system? It's the stock Bose system. Car is as-new with 14K on the odometer. Any and all help will be appreciated. I'm hoping it's something simple like a fuse...If not, I guess it's time to upgrade the system, eh?
