Default Removing C5 Rear Enclosure Question

I want to get better visibility around the rear speaker enclosure and it appears that removing the strut is the only way to achieve that. I've seen where everyone says just push the housing up out of the way, but it doesn't move much. Does anyone know if there an easy way to remove or move the housing? Will the grill come out without breaking? The housing seems to be clipped in place right behind the strut mounting position. It moves around enough to unbolt the speakers from the front at the right angle, but I want more and easier access if possible. Thanks for the help.

The grill pops out. Using a screwdriver (cover the tip with cloth so you don't scratch anything), push the top of the grill downward. The top should pop of the panel.
