I have a 2007 that came with the standard stereo. I have installed aftermarket nav, jl stealth box, jl amp, and replaced all mids and hi's. As of right now I want to get rid of the amp and stealth box just because I want a cleaner look under the rear hatch but I still want better sound than the base OEM setup. I'm looking at adding the Bose subs in the front doors and the bose amp since they are all hidden. I would like to try and keep all other speakers as is. Just wondering if this is possible and what I would need to complete this project. I have found someone selling all speakers and amp at a decent price. Thanks in advance for the advice.

What kind of speakers do you currently hasve in the doors? With the oem subs installed all you'll have room for is 3.5's.
Do you have an amp driving your speakers, or just the HU internal amp? If it's anything other than the HU internal amp I'd guess that you'd have trouble getting the mid/hi volume level equal to the sub level unless you powered all of your speakers from the bose amp.
By looking at the C6 Schematics, the bose amp is definitely what filters out and sends the low level signal to the door subs, but I'd guess that the signal being sent is just a line level signal. If the door subs are all you want to reinstall, you may want to first try an experiment by sending the sub output of the new HU (along with remote amp trigger and B+) to the door subs to see what happens. If it works, all you'd need to install is the stuff in the doors (and not the actual bose amp).

Does that mean that you don't still have the ones that came out of your car
Everything I've ever seen (including GM's official 2007 propoganda) said that the Bose 7-speaker system WAS standard. But hey, I just found out a few weeks ago that it was possible to get a C5 without the door subs (base '99 FRC's iirc), so who knows
