each door has a single amp that is only for the door sub
Okay thanks....so how can i make those amps work with a aftermarket deck? some people say you need the harness with the chimes and some say you dont. other people say just use a line converter, im so damn confused i dont know where to start....do you have any tips?
Much good info here. Schematics and plug pin-outs are avail in post #96 if you need them.
If you just want to swap out the radio you'd need an ROEM-Vet1 and an adapter plate for the new radio. HUmount.com for fancy custom plates, or a generic plastic one will work just fine.
To maintain RAP you'd need something like this, or you can find ignition switched power in the 3-wire pigtail next to the I/P fuse box for free.
