Hello everyone-
So I am looking for ideas on amp mounting for my c5. I have two amps that are fairly small in size; both kickers (one for the sub and one for the vocal speakers). I have a flush custom sub box with a kicker 10L7 and basically am more looking for "closer-to permanent" mounting for my amps. Basically right now, they are connected, but more or less floating around back there. (I'll post pics as soon as I have them and it'll make more sense once you see what I'm talking about). Important thing I want is to still be able to take my targa top on and off. (which I can do right now). Please post pics or give direction on how I can better mount these amps. thanks, -Anthony
Darion- I love that setup and basically am thinking of something similar, with a cover made of wood/carpet/glass of some sort. Did you bolt those directly into the fiberglass? What are they bolted to?

Normally people will put a 1/2" or 3/4" slab of MDF under the carpet and secure that to the fiberglass with liquid nails. This prevents accidental drilling into important things....like the gas tank. Then just use wood screws to bolt down your amp or amp rack.
I purchased an amprack for my c6 from madvette motorsports. I would guess he could fabricate one for your C5 as well. I dont think you can beat his prices. I got one w/ vinyl to match interior w/ plexi and lights for a GREAT price.
