I may have found one but always looking for the best deal. So, if anyone has an aftermarket navi head unit (i.e. Kenwood, Pioneer, Eclipse, Alpine, etc.) for sale PM me with brand, model #, age, and what you're looking to get for it.
Their new ALPINE IXA-W404 2-din 4.3 TFT-LCD touchscreen, coupled with the ALPINE PXA-H100 & KTX-H100 NEW IMPRINT SOUND MANAGER, and in my case their ALPINE PDX-5 5 CHANNEL CAR AMP AMPLIFIER PDX5 is going to be a hard combo to beat I think.
I'm going to bridge the 4 channels to run 150x2, and run the 5th channel to the sub. I'm going to custom make a 1.3 cube box, stuff a SQ 12" in it, and I think it will fit my needs just fine.
Typically I go strictly SQ, but in this case I'm going to need some SPL to overpower the decibels of my BB Bullets.
Good luck, and let us know what you decide on.
OH, stay away from JL audio, it's becoming so cliche... If I had a dollar for every JL component used by members on this forum, I'd be RICH! Don't get me wrong, it's good equipment, but for the same $, and a little imagination, there is FAR better to be had.
IMO JL still makes good stuff. Yes, it is pricey IF you buy it at full retail but you can get some great deals gray market. I just make sure the company I'm dealing with offers a good warranty. Sure there are a lot of better manufacturers but for minor improvements in SQ come MAJOR increases in price typically and it is only going to sound so good in a car anyway.

PEACE!
Not sure what you mean by saying JL is so "cliche"....Just because a lot of people use JL you want something different? I prefer to go with what sounds good and could really care less how many people use the same thing but that's me.
I love the sound of my Alpine 205 in my truck but I put a Kenwood DNX8120 in my '06 vert and will put a Kenwood in my '08 Z06 as well. The Alpine Blackbird navigation flat out sucks. Plus when you use one of their processors you have to use an analog audio output kludge part to get it to work. Heaven forbid you put in an Alpine head with an Alpine process and use an Alpine docked navigation and actually expect them to work together nicely. Ridiculous.
For navigation it's Garmin hands-down, and for in-dash units, that means Kenwood.

No offense brother man.... It's just like I said. JL makes "good" equipment, but it's over priced, but not that great. Alot of people buy it because everyone else who thinks they're "in the know" has bought it, and say it sounds amazing. The guys in the stereo shops push it because it's EXTREMELY profitable for the company, and their commission checks reflect that. It's an EASY sell. It sounds good, but far from amazing. Then again, almost anything aftermarket sounds exponentially better than a stock system.
Again, they make good equipment, but if you want great, or amazing, look elsewhere.
I think I'm going with the Kenwood DNX7120. Only issue now is deciding if I'll use it for the C6 or the GS400. One car will get the Pioneer AVIC f700BT I have and the other will get the Kenwood.
My fiance won't ever drive the C6 but will drive the GS occasionally so I'm thinking the Kenwood Garmin-based navi will go in that car. She NEEDS it. ha ha
As for the sound I have Elemental Designs SQ10s (shallow 10s) and Boston Acoustic S35s (2-way 3.5s) for the doors. MB Quarts DKG113 2-way 5 1/4s for the B-pillar and a 10" Elemental Designs 11Kv.2 in a Madvette enclosure for the rear hatch all powered with an Alpine PDX-5.
Misc. stuff will be license plate framed back-up camera, Crazy Cowboy insulation kit, Madvette Vette Bin/Partition combo (hopefully it gets here soon), etc. I think I'll be pleased...we'll see.

Sorry brother, I did not mean to offend....
No offense taken bro. I honestly just didn't understand what you meant. I gotcha now though.
