Need a lil help with install parts?
How are things going gents?
I've the OEM BOSE NAV system in my 08 C6Z and just wanted to know which wiring harnesse(s) I'm going to need for the Kenwood DNX9140 NAV unit.
Peripheral GMAH24 for the chimes/OnStar etc. ?
PAC Audio SWI-JACK for retaining the steering wheel controls ?
These are the only two things I can think of.
Is there anything else I'm going to need?
I'm removing the BOSE amp and speakers as well and upgrading to aftermarket pieces that have yet to be decided. I've searched and I'm just getting more and more confused.

This thread pretty much sums it up for you.
If you DO NOT want to keep OnStar, the GMCO is the only adapter you need. If you have and want to keep OnStar you need the GMAH24B and the GMAHCM to keep the warning chimes.
The steering wheel interface is needed to keep them functional no matter which of the above adapters you use.
To make the HU work, that's it. The amp and speakers will then use the trigger wire and RCA's from the new HU.
