Harness Wiring
Need help with this rogue wire, In the process of installing the Kenwood 9140 after peeling back the tape from the large gray radio harness and exposing the wires I found this yellow wire not connected and alone, I did snip a red/white wire with the razor but re-spliced it. I cannot find where the yellow wire attaches. I have a 2008 3lt W/bose Please help. See pictures at below link

The only yellow wire in the main C1 plug is the 'FM Composit' signal wire from pin A4. That circuit is some kind of feedback circuit that fine tunes your radio reception. If you're in the process of installing an aftermarket HU you have nothing to worry about, that wire does absolutely nothing without the stock radio installed.
Now, have you learned your lesson about razor blades yet
