Working on finishing up my DNX 9140 install down to the Metra bezel and it appears its not the correct one (Metra 95-3304) the reason I say this is I'm having trouble getting it to line up correctly , See attached link for pictures. http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo...eat=directlink

Reason: spelling
The side pieces attach directly to the HU with the 90 degree wings towards the front of the HU. You then put the unit in and place the rectangle piece on top and put the screws through both pieces of plastic. It looks to be the correct kit.
It's the right kit. Install the brackets into the faceplate by installing the short leg of each bracket through the slots in the faceplate. The bracket is installed with the short leg facing the outside of the faceplate (not inwards). If installed properly, the holes in the bracket will line up with the holes in the faceplate. If they don't, switch the brackets to the opposite side. Good luck!
Note my previous post. You have the short leg of the bracket BEHIND the flange of the face plate. You'll need to remove the screws holding the bracket to the HU, and install the short leg of the bracket through the slots in the faceplate. When done correctly, the short leg of the bracket will be in front of the faceplate flange.
MI-Z06 I guess I was trying just to hard and not thinking, when I read your first reply a light went off, man to I feel like a Dumb ***. Thanks for the reply. The people on this forum are great folks to put up with the one's like me.

No problem. It would be nice if Metra included some instructions. I know I scratched my head for a little while when I opened the package and tried to figure out how the parts went together.
Guys on this forum have always gone out of their way to help me when I've posted questions, and I'm happy I could give you some assistance.
As I recall, when I installed my 9140,
the brackets stamped L & R had to be reversed.
I would think that L = DS and R = PS.
However when reversed, it worked.
Good Luck,
