Hey guys, i'm having a hard time trying to get enough clearance behind the new aftermarket head unit i got for my car. (Pioneer DEH-P800PRS) This unit is about half-inch deeper than the stock head unit. There is a black plastic piece at the end of the head unit opening (new head unit's wiring harness is hitting this "plastic wall")...
Does anyone know if i can cut a small opening on that area? (I have no idea if there is anything important behind this "plastic wall"). I only need 1" inch more of clearance and i can bolt the dash kit, re-install center console and be done!
