First let me thank everyone who has posted here. I info has been very helpful. Especially the plug pin-outs. Second let me say that I have a 2005 C6 vert w/ long tubes & Borla stingers. That being said I hated the sound of the stock Bloze/nav. I wanted to punch things up a bit but didn't want to waste my money since the car is loud and I always drive with the top down. Here's what I did. I added a Elf Audio E2125 mini amp directly behind the stock Bloze amp. I taped into the low level inputs at the amp plug for the front 2 channels. I added Pioneer TCS 720 PRS components in the doors. I heard they had a little more bass than most speakers there size. I left the stock rears for fill and used the stock amp to drive them. I also used the Antenna enable signal to trigger the amp (B11) I have to say that the improved sound is 10X better than the Bloze. The bass of the PRS's blows the Bose away. Having the stock rears driven by the stock amp is just right for a little fill. Can anyone think of any issues I might have with this unorthodox combination?
Thanks!

Reason: typo
Here's a couple of pics i just took. I knew I should taken a few as I was installing...(sorry)
One pic shows where I tapped into the amp input and the other shows the RCA inputs and speaker outputs of the Elf amp. A little secret is that I belt sanded about 1/8" off of the Bose amps coolong fins. I also used 1/4" spacers with the Bose amp for extra measure.
oh wow its actually behind the bose amp thats crazy, run it hard and let me know if u have any overheating issues im curious
I was thinking of that. I just drove to Carlisle and back Sunday 1-1/2 hours each way with the top down and the volume up. Both amps were hot but never quit. I'm not sure how hot is too hot. I remember the stock amp being hot before the upgrade.
