1986 Bose Speaker Amp

Took it out of the car yesterday because it had nearly no sound coming out of it at all. The speaker itself looks fine but so I am going to look at the amp. What capacitors do I get to replace or will I find the value clearly stamped on them? Not an expert but I figured I might as well get my soldering iron out and give it a shot.

Does anyone have a schematic for the 86 Bose speaker amp or have one open they can look at? I have found a resistor that burned out to the point I can't get any values from it.

If memory serves go to the scrap yard and find a mid 90's nissan with A bose system. You can remove the amp and swap them right out. a few years ago i took the speakers and amp out of a 2005 pathfinder and they bolted right up to my 90 ZR1. Problem solved!

Geez the local bone yard shows a ton of 90s model maximas. I guess I'll hump it out there tomorrow.

I grabbed up about 10 amp/speaker combos out of 90s model maximas and altimas. I also was able to finally get one out of a late 80s cadilac. Looks like I am set for a while. Thanks
