Poor AM reception with AVIC
Trouble with the Metra GMOS-04?

6. A Relay is needed in the 2005-2007 Corvette. You will need to cut the blue/white wire in half
between the 16 way Molex and 24 way gray connector.
• Connect the blue/white wire coming from the 16 way Molex to pin 85 of the Relay.
• Connect the blue/white wire coming from the 24 way connector to pin 30 of the Relay.
• Connect pin 86 of the Relay to Ground.
• Connect pin 87 of the relay to fused 12 volt constant wire. Using tape or a wire tie securely the
Relay from moving around in the dash.
At one point I also put in the voltage regulator described in:
Antenna Amp Triggering for Improved Reception with Aftermarket Head

So far it has not helped. Both of the above use the blue/white wire. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I read one post that recommended disconnecting the passenger side antenna amplifier, but I have not found its location. Taking off the rear facia seems a bit too much.
Thanks

C5's also use 12V to power the antenna amp gizmo, but also use 5V to trigger it. I don't think that link you referenced (click here) is correct for a C6.
Try putting the 12V antenna wire from the HU directly to B3 and see what happens.
It's been a few weeks, but from what I remember the blue/white wire that powers the relay also went to the regulator. It doesn't seem right, and the reception sucks. I had the guys install a back up camera before I started messing with it, and I was thinking that maybe they loosened the wires going to the antenna amps. I just haven't managed to find them yet.
The antenna modules are on the rear wall of the hatch area.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
-Pull fuse 31 under the hood (to keep old amp from powering up)
-Connect the 'antenna control' wire from your new HU to the white wire at B3 of the main radio harness
