Looking to install a Motorola Bluetooth T605 into my car. There is a wire that you can connect to stereos that will mute the stereo when a call is coming in. I figure my c6 must have this same wire since it does just that for onstar so just trying to figure out where that wire is and what color it is. So maybe someone has a wiring schematic for the c6? Or has anyone installed bluetooth into their corvette?

Schematics are here, but you may want to verify the way that circuit works with a meter before just hooking it up, I don't recall ever reading about someone doing that on a car with all stock components.

It's the one labeled "amplifier mute signal" on a U65 & U66 system. Check the schematics and plug drawings that Mark posted for more info.

But if you have ever seen that parrot install thread, where a member had to make a circuit with the amplifier signal in order to mute, he stated that he couldn't get the amplifier mute wire to function. He did have a non-onstar equipped car with nav.

I have onstar and nav, if you have any further clarification

Hate to revive an old thread, but does the above posted wiring diagram apply to a C6 with Bose setup as well ?

The U65 prints are Bose

Everything is the same for all C6 until they started adding more features like BT, aux input, USB.... I have the 2012 paper copy that I'll scan the pages with changes and add to the link one of these days.
