Default C5 2003 Corvette speed sensor location?
Hello everyone.
I am going to install Kenwood in dash GPS navigation to my Car, this project need to tap the GPS wire to speed sensor wires.
Does anyone point me where is the speed sensor connector? Speed sensor wire color ?

its listed in c5 faq, you can grab it at the guage cluster plug

last i knew the kenwoods didnt need VSS

I got the Kenwood Excelon KVT-614 with GPS module KNA-G510.
The instruction said that I need to tap GPS wires to Speed Sensor. The instruction paper in print in BW , show connector in BW no wire color code.

i didnt recall the g510 having vss but its been a while regardless you dont really need it

So I don't really need to tap to Speed Sensor wires?
I just want to make sure I understand the procedure before I open up the Dash board.

You are correct, KNA-G510 need no VSS.
I looked at the KW Instalation Manual , there is no VSS wire.
