Default c6 hd radio tuner

first off i would like to say hello to everyone. i have been a member of this forum for awhile now and find this place very helpful.i am like many others completely removing the bose system in my 06 zo6. so here is my problem where can i mount the hd tuner for my radio it just came in yesterday and is way bigger than i thought.it doesnt seem like the cable supplied with it will be long enough to allow me to mount under a seat so now i am thinking maybe trying to put it where the bose amp is but i dont know its location or size any ideas? i have searched but it doesnt seem like anybody are using hd tuners just xm. thanks in advance for any advice my setup is head jvc avx 720 front boston sl65 rear infinity kappa sub jl 12w6 with jl500.1 data bus scocshe gm09sr

The stock amp is in the lower left corner of the area under the passengers feet (next to the fuse box), but you can easily put the module ABOVE the passengers feet. Pull down the flat plastic piece with the light mounted on it (just pop out a few big push pins on the front edge) and look up, there's room for lots of goodies, but you may have to hang it from something with a zip tie.
