not without physically opening the unit and modding it, and even then it would just be an aux input for the sound so you would still control the ipod from the ipod itself

I just ran across something called Connects2 Iconnect FM ipod adaptor. It plugs in between the radio and antenna, and you play the music by tuning to an FM station (but hard wired, not one of the FM transmitter things). They are pretty cheap too. I'm intrigued, anyone have any experience with these?

The hard wired units work pretty well. They sound as good as a strong FM station. The ones that actually transmit over the air to your cars antenna work, but generally sound like crap, although they do serve their purpose, I have one of these for use in rental cars.

Just be aware that you'll most likely have to also buy antenna adapters since GM uses the mini plugs instead of the "standard" size. You'd need one 'normal' and one 'reverse'.
