Here are plans and pictures for an all MDF (or birch) stealthbox
These are the dimensions for a box that I made fo the center well of my C5. I did not use the box as I have since changed drivers that I am installing and will now be building a birch/fiberglass enclosure. This box can be built with birch to signifigantly reduce its weight (I learned that after I had this one built). The box will take a little tweaking around the top depending on how you are wanting the box to fit in the well. (i.e. are you wanting to reuse the factory well cover or replace it. The top of the box will have to be adjusted accordingly for where you need the top of the box to sit in the well.
Please let me know if you have any questions and I will answer them as best I can.

Cool Box  I have one question about baffles. How do you know where to place them?
I didn't. I was just placing them in the middle of the biggest panels. Like I said, I never had the box in the car with a speaker in it so I don't know if the box will have any resonance or not. I gave it to a fellow vetter in town who will be putting a square Kicker solo in it. I will have a chance to see how it sounds then. Even if it doesn't, he won't have much room to complain since I just gave it to him. :D

I have a few questions when looking at that box if you don't mind, (i'm interested in building one).
1. What did you do with the bottom liner carpet? cut it or totally remove it?
2. What are you going to do to stop the box from rattling around in there? cover it with carpet?
3. how snug is it on the sides?
4. Total cost?
I really appreciate your help on this one. Thanks a lot, Justin
