Default Questions on DNX9140 Installation

I''ve got all the parts now and after looking over all the instructions I've come up with only 3 questions:

1. The DNX9140 instructions show a connector with 2 wires for relay 1 and relay 2. What are these for? My guess is I won't be using these on my install which uses only one 4 channel amp.

2. I'm using the PAC OS-2 and I want to drive the center channel speaker with it for Onstar. I'm assuming the purple/white and brown/white are the wires, but can someone confirm this.

3. Since I won't be installing a back-up camera, can I just leave the Reverse wire un-hooked? I'm assuming it's only there for the camera option.

1/ The relay wires are typically for things like the "mild to wild" baffle control for the exhaust or something else.

2/ Don't know. Not sure

3? I think you are correct.

Re: #2 - I was trying to see if I had a picture of what I did, but I do not =(

I knew I had to read the schematic a few times to understand what the authors meant (specifically option#2).

If I remember correctly, I did the following:

1) Cut the left-front speaker wires (white + white/black wires) that come out from the 16pin harness (labeled "OS-GM24 output harness" in the manual) near the middle as option #2 states in the manual.

2) Connect the just-cut white + white/black wire ends that come from the OS2 unit to the center speaker. The ends that goes to 24pin stock harness I just taped up.

I believe the Onstar wires you mentioned carry the output from the car's onstar module which goes to the OS2 unit where it then sends the signal to the 16pin harness' speaker outputs (in this case, the left front wires [white + white/black]), which we attached to the center speaker.

Hopefully this makes sense.
