Default Peripheral PXHGM4 battery drain.
Hello all. I just purchased the Peripheral iPod kit with the PXHGM4 harness. I have read around that it still charges the iPod when the car is off and even when the iPod is not plugged in, it still draws current. I have seen the modification to stop this done to the combination of the PXHGM1 and the GM 20 pin harness. However, I have not found a detailed write up on how to do it to the PXHGM4 harness. Any help would be appreciated!

not following what the issue is, it shows what wire is the always hot wire, that you want to cut and tie to an igntion sourced wire

The box has been draining the battery on the cars.

correct, and it shows which wire is the always hot wire so you just have to wire that to a switched ignition source
