Default future install

Hello fellow forum members..... I am going to be doing some insulating to the vert and thought while i was at it i would run the wires for a future set up since i will have all the carpet pulled up. Soooo my question for you is what wires do i need to run. I will be going with 2 amps,(1 for the door and back speakers and one for a sub) and a 10 inch sub in the rear well. I will also be replacing my radio, when i finally do the whole system.

Is it a good idea to run these wires while ihave the car torn apart to make the install easier later? Or are there too many variables that i do not know yet?

thanks in advance for the help.

Deff can run them all it wont hurt. You need to run 2 sets of rca cables from the area behind radio (leave enough slack to hook em up) to the back of the car/where amps will be

16ga speaker wire from under dash on each side leave 5 feet or so coiled up, so you can run it either into door, or to your crossvoers that you tuck under the dash. run these to where the amps will go. also from sub to amps.

4ga power wire from battery to area near amps for a distro block, then 8ga to amps

same with ground. run a 4ga from a seat bolt, or the oem ground under the pillar covering the seatbelt mech, run that to a distro near ur amps, then 8ga to the amps

also run a remote wire with the rca's from the radio to amp area

darvex.com has lots of good wiring stuff

i cant stress enough dont cut ur wires too short

In my opinion,it's just to early to do it unless you are dead set on what you are doing and have the equipment already. I planned on doing this when I did my insulation and I'm so glad I didn't. I have changed my mind about 4 times on what I'm going to do. You may decide to run a 5 channel amp like the Alpine PDX-5 or decide not to go with rear speakers. Just me,but I'd do it all at once.

Running wires in these cars is easy, so doing it now won't save all that much time or work later, but it would be nice to get it done.

If you do end up running them now, just do like pentavolvo says and be sure to leave plenty of extra wire coiled up on each end.
